We are excited to celebrate our very own Jackson Bowles for being chosen as the Morrilton High School DAR Good Citizen.
Congratulations to the 9th grade quiz bowl team that qualified for the State Tournament by placing 2nd in the 5A Regional tournament held Saturday. Logan Viveiros was recognized as the most valuable Player of the Tournament. Both he and Lily Trauth qualified for the All-Tournament team.
Junior high girls and boys basketball will play at Searcy tonight.
Congratulations to the following thespians for their entries in the State Thespian Festival.
Johnny Bertram and Kimber Price received Excellent in duet musical
Trinity Bell received excellent in Solo Musical
Faith Billing and Chelsea Cooper received excellent in Costume Design
Danajah Penn received superior in solo acting
Salina Sosa received superior in solo musical
and Kayli Gentry and Nora Turner received superior in Duet musical theatre dance.
MHS Speech and Debate competed at Mount St. Mary's Academy Forensics Festival this past Saturday. The following members were awarded in their respective events:
Kynlee Little won 4th place in Poetry, Addison Edwards won 6th place in Poetry, Salina Sosa won 4th place in Solo Musical, and Danajah Penn won 1st place in Dramatic Interpretation and 5th place in Storytelling. Congratulations Devil Dogs!
