The South Conway County School District wants to inform our parents/guardians about a scam reported in our area. Some parents have already received phone calls from individuals impersonating a school counselor and requesting a $250 payment for an ACT/SAT prep class.
Please be advised:
Our counselors will never contact you by phone to request payment of any kind. We will never ask for payment over the phone or request sensitive financial information in this manner.
If you receive a call like this, we encourage you to:
1. Hang up immediately
2. Do not provide any personal or financial information
3. Report the scam to the Attorney General's Office https://arkansasag.gov/current-scams/
4. Contact your student's school directly to verify any questions or concerns





Representing Morrilton High School with pride, professionalism, and determination, FBLA members showcased their knowledge and skills in a wide range of competitive business events. Their hard work and preparation resulted in multiple top finishes and several students earning the opportunity to compete on the national stage this summer.
Students qualifying for the FBLA National Leadership Conference in June include:
Anna Par — 1st Place, Customer Service
Aliza Ahouse & Logan Wofford — 2nd Place, Sports & Entertainment Management
Eddie Moll — 2nd Place, Marketing
Hannah Halbrook — 2nd Place, Securities & Investments
Additionally, Mikayla Berry earned recognition as a national alternate after placing 6th in Project Management.
These accomplishments reflect not only the individual talents of these students but also their commitment to excellence, preparation, and perseverance. Competing against some of the top students from across the state, Morrilton’s FBLA members demonstrated what it means to represent their school and community with integrity and purpose.

The Morrilton High School FBLA chapter continues to be a shining example of student leadership and achievement, preparing young people for success in business and beyond. Their performance at the state conference is a testament to the strength of the program and the dedication of its members and advisors.
As these students prepare to compete at the national level, the Morrilton community stands proudly behind them, confident they will continue to represent the Devil Dog Way with excellence.
