The South Conway County School District Board of Education approved the 2026–2027 PreK Academic Calendar at its January 12, 2026, meeting. We are excited to share the key highlights as we plan for another great year of early learning.
📅 Important Dates
First Day for PreK Students: Monday, August 10, 2026
Last Day for PreK Students: Wednesday, May 26, 2027
🗓 Major Breaks
Fall Break: October 15–19
Thanksgiving Break: November 23–27
Christmas Break: December 21 – January 4, students return on January 5
Winter Break: February 11-12, Presidents’ Day: February 15
Spring Break: March 19–26
👨👩👧 Parent-Teacher Conferences
October 15 | 2:30–7:30 p.m.
February 11 | 2:30–7:30 p.m.
The calendar includes 178 student interaction days, meets all state instructional requirements, and provides planned breaks and built-in snow make-up days to support consistency, learning, and family time.
